Susan and her staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Susan answered more questions for me than I originally came in for, and made me feel confident about a better treatment plan for my health. She is open and transparent, and easy to feel comfortable with. I’m happy I found Valor Medical!

This is an amazing team, small but mighty! Susan and the staff treat everyone like family. Never have I seen anyone disrespected regardless of background. They are always willing to help, and go far and beyond expectations.

Valor Medical in Knoxville is a great place to get care. The front office staff are always friendly and make check-in quick and easy. Their online patient portal is one of the best parts—it’s simple to use and has a messaging feature that actually works. Messages are checked often, and you always get a quick reply, which makes it easy to handle questions or follow-ups without having to call. The office is clean, modern, and comfortable. Nurse Practitioner Susan is excellent—she really listens, takes her time explaining treatment options, and makes sure you understand everything before you leave. As a veteran herself, she connects especially well with other veterans and truly understands the challenges that come with that lifestyle. She’s caring, respectful, and makes you feel like your concerns matter. The nurse assistants are also friendly and helpful, and everyone there works well together to make the whole experience easy and professional. Just had a VA cp exam here. The person that examined me was one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. It was very evident she clearly understood the VA process. Just an overall good experience. Wish all VA cp exams had people like her.

Love the staff! Friendly and helpful! That was my original post when I started at valor years ago. Unfortunately it was proven today I’m not a valued customer. Not only was I told I was not going to receive the items I didn’t receive, which I take accountability, I should have paid more attention at the time I picked up items. But to be spoken to in the manner I was by Susan Hicks, was deplorable. And when I expressed I didn’t appreciate being spoken to that way in the lobby, she exclaimed “in an empty lobby”? As she was walking into the patients room who had just been weighed right beside us. I should have left when I was told my credit on account “expired” from my previous visit when I wasn’t actively taking the shot. Very disappointed, was not prepared to be treated this way. If handled correctly, just spoken to in respectful tone, I would have let it go and remained a patient.

I came here 5 weeks ago and again today and saw the doctor, for my weight loss goals. She is very knowledgeable, VERY professional, and has great bedside manner. She answered all of my questions and concerns and made sure I was knowledgeable about my meds. I highly recommend valor medical!

I’ve been a patient with Valor medical for sometime. I’ve had a couple of things come up that have been hard to figure out why they were happening. Susan has always gone above and beyond in my care to make sure that I am properly taken care of. It’s been amazing to have a PCP that you actually feel like cares about you and will do what is necessary to make sure that what needs to be done gets done!!
