What We Sell — and What We’ll Never Sell
No BS Med Spa Reviews is an independent research project. We never accept payment to influence rankings, suppress competitors, or remove negative reviews. Listings are free for every verified medical spa in the United States.

What we’ll never sell
These are the surfaces of this directory that are not, and will not be, for sale.
Ranking position in any list
No spa pays to be #1. Order is driven by a public formula — rating × ln(reviews + 1).
"Featured" or "Verified" badges that imply quality
We won't sell a visual signal that misleads a patient about who is good.
Removal of negative reviews
Reviews are imported from Google. We don't take them down, ever, for any amount of money.
Suppression of competitor listings in search results
Every verified spa appears. No spa can buy the right to make a competitor disappear.
Sponsored content disguised as editorial
If something is paid, it will be labeled. Today, nothing on this site is paid.
Lead generation that prioritizes paying customers
When patients reach out, we don't route them based on who paid us. We don't route them at all.
What we offer
Everything below is free, with no signup required, for every medical spa in the United States.
Free editorial listings for every verified med spa
No signup required. We add and maintain listings as part of our editorial coverage of the US market.
Free claim flow at /claim/[your-slug]
Owners verify ownership and edit their own data. Claiming a listing does not change its ranking.
Free "Suggest an Edit" for everyone
Anyone — patient, owner, employee — can propose corrections through a crowdsource form.
Transparent methodology
Our research process and ranking math are documented in plain English at /research and /methodology.
Real Google reviews synced quarterly
Ratings and reviews are pulled from Google Maps and refreshed on a quarterly cadence.
How we fund this site
We don’t yet. This is a research project run by an editorial team. We have not accepted any payment from any business, and we have no paid tiers, ads, or affiliate links.
If that changes, we will disclose it prominently here and on /about. Until then, our independence is the product.
Questions about our independence
Why is this free?
Because it has to be. The moment a directory takes money from the businesses it ranks, its rankings stop being useful to patients. No BS Med Spa Reviews is an independent research project — keeping it free is the entire point of building it.
Does any spa pay you?
No. We have not accepted payment from any medical spa, group, franchise, vendor, or supplier. There are no paid tiers, no sponsored placements, no affiliate links, and no ads on this site as of today. If that ever changes, we will disclose it at the top of this page and on /about before any money changes hands.
Are reviews ever removed for payment?
Never. Reviews shown on listing pages are imported from Google Maps. We do not edit them, hide them, or remove them in exchange for money. The only time a review is removed is when Google itself removes it from its own platform.
How can I trust that the rankings are not manipulated?
Our priority-score formula is published in plain text at /methodology and /how-we-rank: priority_score = rating × ln(review_count + 1). Both inputs come from Google's public business data. You can recompute the score for any listing yourself and check our order.
What if my spa is on the site and I want it removed?
Email hello@nobsmedspareviews.com from a business email matching the listing's domain or phone record, and we will remove the listing. There is no charge to be removed and no charge to be re-added later.
Will paid tiers ever exist on this site?
We are not planning any today. If we ever add a way for owners to pay for something — an enhanced profile field, an export, a verified contact form — it will (a) be disclosed prominently here, (b) carry no influence on ranking, and (c) be optional. The integrity of the index is non-negotiable.
