The Skin Wellness Center

I had my annual skin check today with Brittany Ware. This office and their staff are top-notch. From check-in to check-out the visit couldn't have been better. My wait time was less than 5 minutes. Brittany has a way of making the uncomfortable skin check appointment more bearable. She's pleasant, easy to talk to, and professional. She even made time to look at pics of my first grandchild. Her assistant was equally amazing! I'm so thankful for this practice and that Brittany takes care of monitoring changes in my skin. I highly recommend The Skin Wellness Center.

Literally sick to my stomach writing this review. I have been a patient of the skin wellness center for close to 20 years I dont recall ever missing or having been late for an appointment until this morning I was exactly 15 minutes late. I called the office frantically twice on my way in to notify them that I was running behind.d I drive all the way from Pigeon Forge to receive care and was caught in a rolling road block on Alcoa Highway which was out of my control. When I arrived it was exactly 15 minutes past my appointment they scanned all my information took my cards had me wait in the waiting room and then called me within 5 minutes to go back. I'm taken to a room spoken to by the nurse asked to disrobe told she'd be back to give me my numbing shots and to my shock Dr Grande comes in visibly irritated and announces that I'm 20 minutes late for my appointment and that she's not doing my procedure now. At this point I'm humiliated sitting there undressed on the table being told to basically reschedule when there were 4 opportunities to say you need to reschedule.(2 phone calls, front desk contact and nurse contact) I am dumbfounded why they waited for me to get undressed and a waiting on exam table to tell me to reschedule. I explained that I kept in touch with the office and I got there as quick as I could and valued her time but she wouldn't even look up from her paper work to address me. I am so sick about the decline of Dr Grande's professionalism, she was the only reason why I kept going because her and Dr Ware were so sweet to me all these years. Dr Grande then told me she could do some of the procedure today and schedule the rest of the procedure in a couple of weeks which would have been a hit on my insurance for two procedures, so that immediately made me feel like I was more of an income source than patient care. I've read the other reviews and it is alarming of the decline of this office and very sad because at the beginning I feel like they really truly cared about their Dermatology clients and Dr. Grande was a much sweeter human. I left the office in tears and I will never return.

Dr. Kimberly Grande is my dermatologist. She's always very nice and very informative. She takes great care of her patients. Also, one of the office members. Abby takes care of your prior approvals. I have never had anyone in the medical field to advocate for me the way that Abby does. I cannot brag on this office enough.

My second visit for tattoo removal and my experience has been impeccable! I can’t wait to see my final results. The process is painless and quick! I’ll update with before and after photos once my process is complete. 10/10 highly recommend Janet !

Just moved back to the Knoxville area and I am looking for a new dermatologist. The phone operator was very unpleasant while attempting to make an appointment for a new patient. I stuttered for about 20 seconds while flipping through my calendar when she said there was no availability until April (I admit it was a longer pause than needed on my part), but then she hung up on me. I was prepared to make an April appointment since I understand that business can be busy but now I will not be calling back.
