I would give zero stars if possible. I found this place from an Instagram ad. There was a special promo for $69 for the microdermabrasion facial. No where on any of the ads or website state it only for first time customers. I went last month enjoyed a facial, and went on my way. I thought it was suspicious how quickly I was in and out and what procedures were actually done. A week later. I’m getting emails about rebooking at the same promotional price for the same treatment. I hold off and the following week get another email with the same offer. I decide to click the link and set up a facial for today. There’s nothing that says I have to pay full price. The confirmation email states that I’m not fully confirmed but I’ll be contacted soon to confirm over the phone. Fast forward to 2 hours before the 2:30pm requested appointment and I’m calling with no answer and leave a voicemail stating I’ll be there. I go into a doctors appointment and get a very unprofessional call asking for a call beck to confirm a 3pm appointment. I get to the place at 3pm and I’m not only not in the system. I’m told now I have to pay full price and it’s only for first time customers. I want a facial and have a busy schedule so I agree. I’m told I have to now wait at least 15 minutes. I get a rushed service that missed out several steps and the massage. For $250 I expected at least 60 minutes not 35. It’s a bait & switch scam and takes advantage of women. Go somewhere else it’s a cash cow.

I had my first microneedling session with Nurse Shanlee and it was incredible! She is so knowledgeable and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. I was a little nervous going in, but she walked me through each step and made sure I felt completely at ease. The treatment went so well, and I’m thrilled with how my skin is already looking and feeling. Couldn’t have asked for a better first experience

I had the most wonderful experience at New Beauty Spa today! The ambience was serene, smelled amazing, and created a truly peaceful, zen atmosphere. Receptionist was attentive and professional. Fay took exceptional care of my most cherished treasure—my mother. She was incredibly attentive, thorough in her techniques, and made sure my mother felt comfortable and satisfied throughout the visit. As my mother is diabetic, my main concern is her health, while her main concern is always her aesthetics! Lol... Fay expertly balanced both, which was such a relief. Even when there was a previous misunderstanding with management, they went above and beyond to resolve it, and we left feeling completely satisfied. Highly recommend!

Ladies, gather ‘round for the tale of my spa day adventure that took a turn I didn’t quite expect. Picture this: I’m scrolling through Instagram, dodging the usual ads for teeth whiteners and miracle diets, when suddenly, an ad for New Beauty Med Spa in Encino pops up. Non-invasive ultrasound treatments? Affordable first-time deals? Sign me up! Booking was a breeze; the staff offered a plethora of appointment slots, and I snagged a Monday morning spot faster than you can say “self-care.” Upon arrival, the ambiance was on point—think soothing tunes and lighting that could make anyone look like a dewy goddess. Enter Catherine, my esthetician, who led me to a tranquil room. I was all set for my ultrasound facial debut when she mentioned we’d start with a neck demo. Surprise neck treatment? Why not! The procedure was as smooth as my gelled-up neck, and before I knew it, Catherine offered to cleanse my face. Who declines a free face wash? Not me! Her hands worked magic, leaving me contemplating if she had secretly swapped them for angel wings. Post-pampering, I was ushered into another room to discuss treatment packages. Here’s where the plot thickens. The manager presented a series of three sessions to achieve my (yet-to-be-discussed) beauty goals. No before photos, no chit-chat about my skin aspirations—just straight to the numbers. And oh, what numbers they were! The price tag had more zeros than my bank account was comfortable with. When I expressed my budgetary constraints, she graciously offered a 40% discount, which still had me clutching my pearls. At the same time I notice something off. The Ultrasound menu in managers office, she was pointing to. Notice the alternate prices printed on the back of this 8.5”x11” copy paper. Could they not afford another sheet of paper or was this a prop that was flipped depending on how rich a patient looked? IDK. Declining the offer seemed to flip a switch. The manager’s warmth cooled faster than my post-facial skin. The payment device was practically thrust at me, and as I fumbled to leave a tip, she was already retracting it. A promise to email the receipt was made, but the customary “thank you” was MIA. I found myself meandering out, feeling more dismissed than a one-season reality TV star. Reflecting on the experience, it dawned on me: this was peak L.A. what you wear. Where you live, what you drive, etc. The subtle (and not-so-subtle) probes into my profession and lifestyle felt like a scene straight out of a scripted drama. Pretty Woman, anyone? While I appreciate the hustle, high-pressure sales tactics aren’t my jam. When I told the manager Ii could not afford the asking price or her generous 40% discount, equal to a Ferrari payment, the attitude felt not helpful but shaming me to make the purchase. Even if I stumbled upon a winning lottery ticket tomorrow, I wouldn’t be rushing back. To my fellow queens seeking a spa day: proceed with caution. Your peace of mind shouldn’t come with a side of financial guilt. Remember, self-care is about feeling good, not just looking good. Choose spaces that honor both.

Nurse Shanlee is amazing! She’s professional, knowledgeable, and so compassionate. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers all questions with patience, and truly cares about her patients’ experience. Her expertise and gentle touch made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch care
