I've been here a few times for normal skin checks. I think they provide a good overall service. On one occasion I was running 15 mins late, called ahead and they wouldn't extend (said it was past their cutoff which is fine). I just came to my last appointment where they were over 30 mins behind schedule but wanted me to wait and didn't provide me notice before arriving. I think that's poor customer service and not valuing their clients time (at least notify me beforehand that they're that far behind schedule). If they can't accommodate their clients being behind late I don't know why their clients should be asked to.

Ms. Shelly really nice but the person pick up the phone is not nice at all and the checkout person also hopefully they will have a a better staff working in the Beautiful Clinic and also one of the pharmacy they partner on Hawthorne Blvd,
Torrance is not nice, i went ask why the cream without my knowledge, they say it's my problem not they problem,
just make sure and careful about the refilling they charge the insurance, hopefully someday they will get better thank you for your reading

I called in multiple times to get directions as I was a new patient and nobody answered the phone lines for over 20 minutes on a weekday at 10:30 AM. Therefore, I was late because I could not find the office. I was finally able to get on call with somebody and I asked them if it was worthwhile for me to still go in and if I could be seen. They said to come in, but I would have to wait. OK I was willing to wait. I came in and upon arrival the front desk assistant went to check in with the PA I was scheduled to see. She said that I would not be seen because I was 30 minutes late. I tried to clarify that I had already spoken with somebody who confirmed I would be able to wait and be seen. It didn’t matter. I was rescheduled to come back in two months.
Edit: MBD has no accountability, see bad review responses. It’s always the patients fault and they “do their best” to accommodate but are very busy.

Even after a response, zero accountability from MBD. My insurance company has been fighting charges for a year w/out my knowledge b/c this office should have informed us of this change. Patients beware. This office will not inform you of changes & hope that this office kickbacks were worth patient care & information that should be discussed & disclosed.

Always had a good experience with this office for years until they decided to change lab facilities without notifying clients. As you can imagine, pathology is vital in dermatology & can be very expensive. The practice changed labs without notice & now is out of network for many. The only person penalized would be the patient and without having any idea. VERY poor business practice when a very simple email or even a basic sign to inform the patient of the change & to please check with your insurance carrier. Terrible communication & zero care for the patient. Will never recommend again.

I have been seeing Jackie for over a year now for my derm care. She is always listens to and addresses my chief complaint and has excellent bedside manner. I can tell she cares so much about the quality of the care she provides for her patients! I saw Natalie for my last visit and she is extremely skilled and gentle. The front office is always so patient with scheduling. I am thankful to have found such a great office in the south bay!
