I am happy with my progress (6 months post op and 80 lbs down).Dr. Woodman is an amazing surgeon and he has alot of experience with performing bariatric surgeries. If you aren't ready to change your lifestyle please do not waste your time or his. Dr Woodman is very direct and you will get your feelings hurt if you are in denial or if you are stuck on making excuses. Dr Woodman's staff are professional and helpful. I enjoy the monthly virtual support group because it allows me to interact with other patients who have gone through surgery and to discuss any nutrition concerns.

Dr Woodman performed my Gastric Sleeve surgery almost 15 years ago I think.He is truly a Wonderful Caring Dr. He did not sugar coat anything with me he is exactly the Dr I would highly recommend to anyone. Yes you may get your feelings hurt sometimes the truth hurts that is what I needed to get my life back.i truly believe he saved my life. If you as the patient think of yourself as part of a team and him as the leader you will succeed.If you think the surg magically does all the work you won't .I lost 140lb or so.i had put around 25 lb back on.i have recently taken off 8 lb. This surg is a lifetime change. Please don't go back to old eating habits.I would not recommend anyone else.I think God everyday for guiding Dr Woodman in my surgery.Hope this post is helpful. Before the surgery I was right at 232lbs,I was just so upset all the time wit the clothes I was wearing an how they made me look I had no strength to play around wit my kids or work. So I took it upon my self an and stepped out on faith an laid on that surgery table and did what I knew I needed to do.
