I went to Dr. Abando for my initial consult. He welcomed me with a big smile and he took the time to listen to each of my concerns. They have a well thought-out program that is designed to educate you on their life-changing procedures. The doctors, staff, and facilities are excellent. Everyone is very supportive and ready to help at any time. I would highly recommend Dr. Basa, Dr. Abando, and Jessica Fowler to anyone who is interested in Bariatric surgery.

I have tried a handful of med spas since moving to the Austin area. I am from the Los Angeles area and have high expectations of the services provided in B+A is the first med spa I have been to that is on par with the med spas in Los Angeles. the service, and the results are absolutely perfection. I couldn’t be happier. Kristin is absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. She has a customer for life.

I have no words for this review. Dr. Basa saved my life and I am forever grateful. I was on the fence at first but now I realized this was the best decision I ever made. The office and doctors are very friendly and care about their patients. I almost went somewhere else before coming here and you were just a number there not to mention the doctor does not even live or work in the area (he was from Dallas). They have a fool proof plan that is easy to follow and offer their own products (protein powders, vitamins, etc) which makes it easier to obtain and keep track. All health issues have went away and I am my healthiest in years. I am now 80 pounds down and still going. I highly, highly recommend Dr Basa or Dr. Abando. Thank you both!!!

I absolutely love this place. Everyone from the staff to the surgeons are fantastic. I spoke with Dr. Abando in August 2017 and after talking to him I felt so relaxed and calm and ready to take the next step. If you’re looking to have bariatric surgery, this is the place to go.

I have had an amazing experience here! The front desk customer service is always friendly and helpful. My dietitian, Kelsey is knowledgeable and guided me onto achieving realistic goals. The talented Dr. Basa was very personable and gave me a successful surgery. Every person that I have met along my journey which started last fall (2022) has been wonderful! The facility is always clean and their equipment looks new. I highly recommend!

The employees are so incredibly kind and helpful. They treat you with empathy and zero judgement on how you perceive yourself. They build you up while helping you achieve the results you’re looking for.

Extremely friendly staff! They take your time into consideration and work with you on getting an appointment that works for you! Their knowledge of the treatments is next level. They give you multiple treatment options and even have an in-house financing card that’s super easy to sign up for. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Beautiful office and the most lovely ladies around. Monica, Kaitlyn, Kristin, Brittany.. all I have met on the team have been incredibly kind and helpful in guiding me to care for my skin better. The hydrafacials are wonderful and partnering the Revision Skincare line along with the hydrafacials has made a difference in my skin in a short time.
