Dr Melody Rodarte ordered an ultrasound that included a transvaginal internal procedure and failed to disclose that fact beforehand. I was not informed in advance that an invasive exam was part of the imaging order. There was no prior explanation sufficient to allow for informed consent. I sent her an email expressing my concern. Her reply was dismissive and beyond rude and unprofessional. She is condescending and does not care about her patients. All she cares about is collecting her $200.00. Thank god for other doctors that were available. They also take the insurance. They are kind and don’t give you anxiety. Being presented with an internal procedure without prior disclosure represents a serious breakdown in patient communication and raises concerns regarding informed consent standards. After I formally raised these concerns, rather than addressing the issue, I was dismissed from the practice via certified letter. Patients should not be penalized or silenced for questioning whether proper consent protocols were followed. Transparency and accountability are foundational to ethical medical care. Silencing a patient for speaking up about transparency and consent is deeply troubling. Proceed with caution.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dr Rodarte and her entire staff. When I met her 4 years ago I had already been through two other doctors who did not take my health issues seriously at all. When I hit menopause I gained 30 pounds practically overnight, had zero energy, and my thyroid gland seemed to just stop working. After being gaslit that this is all just normal (and being prescribed antidepressants when I wasn’t depressed) I finally found Dr Rodarte. She listens and is compassionate. We were able to improve my thyroid levels, manage my hormones, and I am down to my pre-menopausal weight. I am happier and feeling better than I have in years and I am forever grateful for her care and compassion. She and her entire staff go above and beyond.

It’s the craziest thing! I actually LIKE and look forward going to the doctor! Who can say that?!? Let me explain…when I first walk in I’m greeted by the nicest staff and sit down in a lobby that is comfortable, beautiful and welcoming. When I meet with the doctor she is SO knowledgeable and has answers for all my questions! She is always happy and has a heart of gold! The best part is, she gives me hope that I can reach my goals and I know that with her help I will! I can not say enough good about this office!! I wish every doctors office was just like this one!!
