Dr Cross is the best GI dr I’ve ever seen for my crohn’s disease. He is understanding, listens to my concerns and incorporates his medical knowledge with my wants and needs. Appointments are never too far out like typical GI drs. I definitely recommend him and PA Heather.

This is Jamie's husband. We came in because my wife is in labor and these people told me to go wait in the waiting room until they get her a room. The girl is in labor going through hell by herself in the damn hallway. We were told this was the best hospital to give birth at. We were lied to badly. I have two other children with my ex and have never been told to wait in the ER waiting room. I strongly do not recommend this hospital for any reason especially not to give birth
Today I had to go to Mercy for an MRI guided biopsy on both of my breasts. I just wanted to say how kindly I was treated thru this entire procedure. The nurses/techs showed great compassion & made me feel at ease. Thank you Mercy Hospital
I found out in June 2025 I had a hernia. I decided to go to the top specialist who uses the De Vinci Robotic System, Dr. Thomas Swope. I saw him a few months later, and he could not do surgery until the middle of December. I wore a hernia belt in the meantime and my life style was drastically cut back. I dealt with constant pain everyday. Going into surgery at Mercy was interesting especially the use of the robotic machine. I felt very peaceful the morning of surgery and before I knew it I was in post op. I had come prepared because I knew I would be staying overnight due to copd from asthma and pulmonary fibrosis from post radiation treatments years ago. I had a private room on the 14th floor with a view of Hopkins and a beautiful Sunrise. Who really sleeps when nurses and techs are seeing you every 2 to 4 hours. I put my total trust in Dr. Swopes years of experience. Later, he spoke to me via phone and said the surgery was uneventful. I did read his notes on MYCHART, as I had multiple hernia's. That sort of freaked me out, yet again my trust was in Dr. Swopes technical knowledge. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to recover, currently, I am feeling better each day. I wear my hernia brace for the full 6 weeks. I seriously would not change specialists and feel very satisfied with my choice. My plastic surgeon Dr. Bernard Chang at Mercy referred Dr. Swope. Dr. Swope is known worldwide for his expertise and he is direct with his explanations and getting down directly to surgery with no dilly dally. He is professional in his field and a very busy man working from multiple locations besides teaching the De Vinci Robot. I am most appreciative for his time a dedication for saving and healing people in my condition. Thank you Dr. Swope.
One of the best hospitals in Baltimore. I recently spent over a month in Mercy and have nothing negative to say at all, the staff are phenomenal from dietary, housekeeping, physical therapy and nursing they are all compassionate, attentive and caring. The food is even excellent. I will be having bilateral hip replacements in a few days and will update my review after. I am switching my primary care Dr. To Mercy and will be receiving all of my medical care from there.
