2-14-26: went in 2/13/26 for neck pain/strain. Was prescribed 3 medications, 2 different pills and 1 topical gel. Picked up my meds from the pharmacy and paid out of pocket for a topical gel that the med label CLEARLY states is not to be used for neck pain/strains! After calling the office and asking for someone to call me back regarding if I can use the gel or not, since it was prescribed and I SHOULD be able to trust the doctors(Job Mendez is the physician I saw 2/13/26), I just wanted to double check that I was prescribed the correct gel AND that I could use it in the area where I’m actually having pain. 3 hours later, still no call back. So I called back myself and spoke to Aaron Lee who is the physician on duty 2/14/26 and was told NOT to use the gel, that he himself wouldn’t have prescribed me that gel for my neck pain if I had saw him and was met with a very rude attitude after questioning why I was prescribed something that doesn’t even help the area that is hurting. It seems like calling and asking questions about my pain, health and medications was inconvenient and irritating to him. Was abruptly told “then don’t use the gel, ok bye” and then hung up on. Called back to get the office managers info, Courtney Mizuno there should be a note on your desk Monday morning with my name and number, I’d appreciate it if ANYONE from your office could call me back and help me understand the hostility from your physician, the lack of concern for the patient who has simple questions about the medications your office prescribes and how it makes sense that your patients are being prescribed medications that have never been clinically proven to help. Attached are photos of the topical gel label that I would hope your physicians are actually reading before recommending someone use it for pain relief. It’s stressful enough being in pain, waiting 4 hours in the waiting room and then to have the staff act like I’m inconveniencing them in regards to MY health…would love to have a chat with someone who can elaborate more on how that’s “healthcare” when it’s obvious no one cared to help. *attached multiple photos of the MULTIPLE labels on the outside and inside of the packaging that it is NOT intended for neck pain/strains. As well as photos of the print out from the Walgreens pharmacy showing it was prescribed to use on my “left and right hips” and I was never seen for hip pain. The label also states that the gel is not to be used for hip pain either…

I have been here two times before and each time I come, they make me fill out an entire questionnaire as if I hadn’t been here before. To top that off, in order to be seen, you have to confirm that you’re giving up any right to sue for malpractice - you can’t go to court, any issues must be through arbitration. While I have no intention to sue, it seems strange that you have to waive your rights in order to receive service. While I normally have a good experience with the doctors here, the front desk and check in is always terrible. At this point, the front desk and check in may be good enough reason to make this my last visit when there are so many other options for urgent care in South Bay. Same day update: I got here at 12:30, they told me 1.5-2 hours wait. It’s how 4:30pm and there’s still four people in front of me. At this point it would have been easier to go to an Emergency Room- I will never give a dime of my money to ANY Exer location again.

I have been coming to this office for many years now and today I had to take the time to say I had the best experience with Dr Joseph Cohen Sedgh. He really took his time to hear me out and give me great advice on what I should do moving forward with my symptoms. I truly appreciate when a doctor listens to all your concerns and doesn't make you feel bad. Thank you so much Dr Sedgh! Keep up the good work! The receptionist was also very nice. I had called before to see if they did the test I wanted and she made sure to confirm if they did.

★★★★★Denise Bonilla

The staff here is all very nice and not rude like other urgent cares. Meagan, the MA who helped me was very kind and very professional. The provider who saw me was Ashley Kauth, FNP. Ashley was very nice and understanding of what I needed. She did not rush me and answered all questions without making me feel like she needs to get to her next patient. This is definitely my go-to Urgent car in the South Bay and where I refer friends and family! Thank you!

★★★★★Priscilla Vizuete

The staff at this urgent care center was incredibly friendly and professional. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had and made sure my 5-year-old felt comfortable. The wait time was typical for an urgent care visit, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.
